Sound profiles

The telephone has 3 sound profiles for adapting the handset to the environmental conditions: Profile Loud, Profile Silent, Profile Personal

Use

to switch between the profiles . . . the profile is changed straight away without a prompt

The profiles are set as follows by default:

Profile Loud


Silent alert:	On ( Switching the silent alert on/off)
Ringtone:	On ( Ringtones)
Ringtone volume (internal and external):	5 ( Ringtone volume)
Handset volume (receiver and handsfree mode):	5 ( Changing the earpiece and speaker volume)
Advisory tones (key click, confirmation tone, battery tone):	Yes ( Activating/deactivating advisory tones)

Profile Silent


Silent alert:	Same as Profile Personal ( Switching the silent alert on/off)
Ringtone:	Off ( Ringtones)
Ringtone volume (internal and external):	Off ( Ringtone volume)
Handset volume (receiver and handsfree mode):	3 ( Changing the earpiece and speaker volume)
Advisory tones:	Key click: No, Confirmation tone: No, Battery tone: Yes ( Activating/deactivating advisory tones)

Profile Personal


Silent alert:	Off ( Switching the silent alert on/off)
Ringtone:	On ( Ringtones)
Ringtone volume (internal and external):	5 ( Ringtone volume)
Handset volume (receiver and handsfree mode):	5 ( Changing the earpiece and speaker volume)
Advisory tones (key click, confirmation tone, battery tone):	Yes ( Activating/deactivating advisory tones)

Activate alert tone for an incoming call for Profile Silent:

after switching to Profile Silent press the display key Beep . . . the following icon appears in the status bar


	Changes to the settings listed in the table: apply in the Loud and Silent profiles as long as the profile is not changed. are permanently saved in the Profile Personal for this profile. The set profile remains set when switching the handset off and back on.
